This directorate works to help ACO Foundation explain its Vision, Mission, Objectives, and Values in a cohesive message to stakeholders at all times. The major aim is to have an integrative communication structure linking stakeholders to ACO Foundation for the purposes of coherence, credibility, and work ethics. This directorate is tasked with the responsibilities of: Promoting the profile of ACO Foundation behind the brand; Minimizing discrepancies between ACO Foundation’s desired identity and brand features; Delegating tasks in communication; Formulating and executing effective procedures to make decisions on communication matters; Mobilizing internal and external support for corporate objectives; and coordinating with international friends,management’s organizations, and institutions. The directorate focuses more on management communication, marketing communication, and organizational communication. The departments under this directorate are largely categorized as: Internal communication, Marketing communication, Investor relations, Donor relations, Government relations, Religious Organizations relations, Public relations, Information and communication technology, and Video production; Photography; & Graphic design.

  1.  1) Department of Internal communication for Environmental Sustainability

    This department is responsible for effective communications among employees within our organization. The aim is to facilitate mutual dialogue and developing the communication skills of the organization’s participants. This department’s team is charged with the responsibilities of being: Internal marketers, Channel managers, and Strategic advisers. This department was initiated on the basis of recognizing that employees are the heart and soul of our organization, thus it is critical to pay attention to their needs. Therefore, employee engagement encourages higher employee performance, results in lower turnover and offers competitive advantage. The focus of this department is to ensure that employees can support a decision and understand how it impacts their work. An engaged employee is someone who is fully involved in, committed, and enthusiastic about his or her work.

     2) Department of Marketing Communication for Environmental Sustainability

    This department is charged with the responsibility of presenting our organization’s Values, Vision, Mission, Objectives and the services we offer – to donors, investors, governments, religious organizations, beneficiaries or the general public, before the specific programs of donor; investor; governments; religious organizations, public takes offer for specificity and clarity of purpose. This involves advertising, promotions, and branding. The department team focusses  on the following areas: To persuade the target audience to change their attitudes and behaviour towards the natural environment and our organization; To create brand awareness, delivering information, educating the audience and advancing positive image for our organization; To mantain and improve successful marketing at every contact point of any target audience;  To reach out to key stakeholders appropriately; To utilize the marketing communication activities in sending out  unplanned and planned messages to overcome communication barriers. The department team is committed towards planning, creation, integration, and implementation of diverse forms of marketing communications. Through this approach our organization’s marketing communication is unified and coordinated to promote a consistent brand of a sustainable environment message.

     3) Department of  Investor relations for Environmental Sustainability

    This department provides investors with an accurate account of ACO Foundation affairs, so that they can make informed investment decisions incase they agree to work in partnership with our organization. The department also serves as a bridge for providing opportunity intelligence to internal organizational management. The department team is typically tasked with coordinating stakeholder meetings and press conferences, releasing financial data, leading financial analyst briefings, publishing reports whenever necessary and handling the public side of any financial crisis. This department is required to be tightly integrated with our organization’s accounting department, legal department and executive management team.

     4) Department of Donor relations for Environmental Sustainability

    This department’s mandate is to sustain and nurture lifelong relationships with our organization’s donors while providing accurate and timely information pertaining to the investment, use and impact of their donations. The department was established to cultivate, engage and recognize donors across the world who will be interested to support ACO Foundation’s programs and activities of environmental sustainability.The department team is determined to accomplish a healthy donor relationship through timely and appropriate donation acknowledgement, fund reporting, donor recognition, donor appreciation activities and events. Through meaningful and consistent contacts with donors the department team builds a relationship of trust between ACO Foundation and the donors in our noble task of forming environmental ambassadors in Africa.

     5) Department of Government relations for Environmental Sustainability

    This department is tasked with the responsibilities of monitoring legislation and political activities at the regional, national and county governments  that could affect positively or negatively the operations of environmental sustainability;  lobbying various governmental agencies to support measures which will protect and promote environmental sustainability. Using both internal and external communications, the department team interacts with the organization’s senior staff members, environmental association legislative committees, government officials, advocacy groups and citizens to promote sustainable environment legislative objectives. The department team achieves this goal by writing letters and meeting with politicians and government representatives in order to sway them to make decisions that favour environmental sustainability, promoting views by talking to the press, and enlisting assistance of the community to influence politicians. The team is always well informed, persuasive and self-confident.

     6) Department of Public Relations for Environmental Sustainability

    This department manages the exchange of information between ACO Foundation and the public. This management function, tabulates public attitudes, defines the policies, procedures and interests of ACO Foundation by executing  programs of action to earn public understanding and acceptance. The department team analyzes the current environmental trends, predicting their consequences, counseling our organizational leaders and implementing planned programs of action, which will serve both our organization and the public interest. Hence helping our organization and the public to adapt to each other mutually. The aim of this department is to inform the public, prospective environmental ambassadors, investors, donors, media, partner organizations, employees, and other stakeholders and ultimately persuade them to maintain a positive and friendly view about ACO Foundation, its leadership, and noble services. The department team’s success is attributed to their deep understanding of the interests and concerns of each of the ACO Foundation’s many stakeholders. It is the responsibility of the department’s team to establish and maintain relationships with ACO Foundation’s target audience, the media, opinion leaders, and opinion formers. It does this by: designing communications, campaigns, writing news releases and other content for news, working with the press, arranging interviews for our organization’s spokespeople, writing speeches for organization’s leaders, acting as an organization’s spokesteam, preparing beneficiaries for press conferences, media interviews and speeches, writing website and social media content, managing our organization’s reputation. Therefore, this department in general is a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between ACO Foundation and the public.

     7) Department of Religious Relations for Environmental Sustainability

    which means the responsible allocation, management and oversight of time, talents and material possessions on God’sgo behalf, to create long-term value and leading to sustainable benefits for the economy, the environment and society.

     8) Department of Information and communication technology for Environmental Sustainability

    This department advantagiously uses the convergence of audio-visual and telephone networks with computer networks to carry out ACO Foundation’s agenda of environmental sustainability. This department’s team play a major role in facilitating the accelerated process at the grassroot level, of environmental group formation and nurturing of environmental ambassadors in Africa. This department provides tools for enabling ACO Foundation’s governance, management, and partner organizations to garner grassroots support for this worthy call of protecting the environment and natural resources conservation.

     9) Department of  Video production; Photography; & Graphic design for Environmental Sustainability

    This department deals with Video production, Photography, and Graphic design of all ACO Foundation events and  programs for the purposes of documenting everything the organization is doing. Through Video production the department team offers service of creating content and delivers finished video products. Through photography the department team creates durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. Through Graphic design the department team combines text and pictures in advertisements, brochures, magazines, or books of our organization. Graphic design is a major part of the whole process and  aims to identify with a certain targeted audience, however our designs represent our Foundation as a whole. The department team use Video production, Photography, and Graphic design: To strengthen our organization’s persuasion power to promote a strong ACO Foundation brand; To make the communication of our organization highly effective by making our Foundation objectives meet visual aesthetics accordingly; To promote our Organization objectives and enhance brand recognition; To help in strategizing and arriving at key decisions for our organization’s sustainability.
